MAUTZ For State Senate
Senator Johnny Mautz speaking at his Eastern Shore campaign rally

Republican · District 37

Eastern Shore First.
Always.

Serving as your State Senator for District 37 has been the honor of my life. If you'll allow me to continue the important work we've started, I pledge to keep fighting tirelessly for our Eastern Shore families, our watermen and farmers, and the values we hold dear. I'm asking for your trust and your vote in 2026.

Where Johnny stands

Four fights. No fine print.

01 / 04

Lower the cost of living.

Eastern Shore families are already getting squeezed from every direction — energy bills that would make your eyes pop, property assessments going through the roof, and a new $2 billion payroll tax. I'm fighting to roll back the Climate Solutions Act mandates driving up your electric bill and to stop the next round of Annapolis tax hikes before they hit your paycheck.

02 / 04

Demand fiscal accountability.

Maryland went from a $5 billion surplus to a $3 billion deficit in three years — and it could hit $7 billion by 2030. We need a DOGE-style independent audit of every dollar of state spending. Eliminate the vacant funded positions, slow down the Blueprint, and stop treating Eastern Shore taxpayers like an ATM.

03 / 04

Protect the Eastern Shore way of life.

Policies that make sense in Baltimore don't work on the Shore. I stand up for watermen, farmers, small business owners, and rural families against one-size-fits-all mandates from Annapolis. The Bay, the boats, the farms, the small towns — that's what we're fighting to keep.

04 / 04

Back the blue. Back our schools.

I support our sheriffs and police, oppose soft-on-crime policies, and fight for parental rights in education. Trade schools and apprenticeships — not Annapolis-imposed curriculum mandates. Keep violent offenders off our streets and politics out of our K-8 classrooms.

Get in the fight

Thirty minutes a week.
Keeps the Shore heard.

Knock ten doors. Make ten calls. Drop a yard sign at the farm or the boat ramp. One neighbor, one porch — that's how District 37 stays in friendly hands. They have the Annapolis machine. We have the Shore.
